Rob brings a combination of years of experience and dedication to a new look

Bowline Marine.

With Rob now at the helm as Managing Director, there is a new energy at Kirribili. He has a voracious passion for the sea and a work ethic second to none. You can rest assured your vessels are in the most capable and caring hands. His in-depth knowledge of marine services is highly respected and sought-after by those in the industry.

our history 

Bowline Marine began operations in Sydney Harbour in 1998 as members of the Australian Navy Clearance Diving Team.

 

At this time there were few professional dive companies offering hull cleaning in Sydney Harbour and Bowline quickly became the go-to team for vessel maintenance cleaning over 3000 hulls per year.

In 2002 Bowline acquired a mooring barge and after two years had won a number of service contracts from major yacht clubs, marinas and government bodies.

 

Over the last decade, Bowline Marine has supplied mooring systems to Sydney Airport, RMS (Maritime), d'Albora Marinas, CYCA, RSYS, Double Bay Marina, RPEYC, Rose Bay Marina and the Royal Motor Yacht Club to name just a few clients.

In 2012 Bowline Marine formed Sydney Harbour Slipways to offer a complete suite of vessel maintenance services. 

 

Our team today consists of experienced divers, shipwrights, mechanics and skilled tradesmen as well as a boat sales office, all located in Careening Cove, Kirribilli.
